Premier Doug Ford says he’ll have a plan soon that could allow some businesses to reopen in the four regions considered COVID-19 hotspots.
Three of the four areas will complete their 28-day restriction later this week.
Ford says he wants to see a better balance, where businesses such as restaurants can resume service while ensuring there’s no increase in the spread of the coronavirus.
There were 948 new COVID-19 cases reported across the province yesterday.
That’s down slightly from previous days……but the number of tests completed also declined.
Two more cases of COVID-19 are being reported by the Algoma Health Unit in the Sault Ste. Marie area.
One is related to close contact, the other to internationalize travel.
Both are in self-isolation.
