The numbers were better than expected and even Mother Nature smiled on the organizers of the Blind River Fall Festival.
Organizers estimate between five-to-seven hundred people took in this year’s event, which included the Witch’s Dance, children’s games, pumpkin carving, and featuring several local businesses and vendors.
The event is considered a big boost for local businesses with Woodward Avenue closed off on Saturday for the safety of participants and attendees alike.
With the success, plans are already being made to make next year’s fall event bigger and better than ever.
