Corvette club members donate to food banks

The Northeastern Ontario Corvettes Club is made up of members who love their cars, but also have a love of their communities.

Club spokesperson Guy Tessier says the club was formed three years ago and as part of their sponsorship support food banks across the northeast from Espanola to North Bay.

He will be at McQuarrie Motors in Espanola tomorrow to present a cheque for $250 to the Espanola Helping Hand Food Bank, adding they will also be presenting cheques to food banks in Sudbury and North Bay.

Tessier says the club has donated over $5,300 to food banks since the club’s inception in 2019, $1,800 alone this year.
