COVID Report for May 6-2021

Public Health Sudbury & Districts is reporting 12 new cases of COVID-19, 10 in Greater Sudbury, one in the Sudbury District and one in the Manitoulin District.

Considering resolved cases, there are 90 active cases within the agency’s jurisdiction.

Health Sciences North states it has 40 admitted patients, 15 confirmed cases and 25 waiting for rest results.

Of the 40, there are nine in intensive care.

Algoma Public Health is reporting three new cases of the virus all in the Sault Ste. Marie area.

Considering resolved cases, there are 30 active cases in the district with one person in hospital.
