Cut For The Cure Benefits Team Blake And Two Organizations

Sacred Heart School in Espanola held a special afternoon yesterday hosting a CUT FOR THE CURE to help out nine-year-old Blake Bond of Espanola who is fighting cancer. Several students and teachers took part.
Students Isabella Hunt and Khloe Renner Third had their long tresses cut while several boys had their hair thinned including Luke St. Germain, Jackson Lalonde, Nathan Miller, Mathieu St. Germain, Cameron Camillo, Noah Galliott and Aidan Lewis.
Custodian Kelly Morin and teachers: Jodi Bourcier, Adam Morolt and Matt Clarke also joined in. A special treat was the draw for students to cut their teachers hair, which drew lots of giggles and laughter.
Locks 12 inches long and more will go to Angel Hair for Kids for children’s wigs in Northern Ontario while hair 8 inches or less will go to Hair 360 in British Columbia, again to make wigs for children with cancer.
Dittrich’s hair stylists donated their time to assist with the event, which was held in the gym with all the school staff and students in attendance.
