Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

A double dose of chocolate, who wouldn’t want that? A rich and fudgy chocolate chip cookie base with sweet chocolate chips. This cookie recipe is easy to throw together and everyone will love them. Thank you, Grammy for the recipe and samples!

Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

• ½ cup of butter
• ¾ cup of brown sugar
• ¼ cup white sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 egg
• 1 cup flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/8 tsp salt
• 1/3 cup cocoa
• 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter, brown sugar and white sugar together in a medium bowl. Beat in egg and vanilla. In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa. Mix flour mixture into wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoon onto cookie sheet. Bake for 8 minutes.
