Drinking water advisory lifted for Nairn Centre

Public Health Sudbury & Districts has lifted the drinking water advisory for Nairn Centre.

Earlier this week, the agency put a water advisory in place asking people to not consume the water in any fashion, but to use if for washing and cleaning.

The order had been in place because it is possible that the loss of water pressure created conditions that compromised the safety of the drinking water, so the advisory was in place as a precaution.

The advisory was put in place earlier this week.
