École Saint-Joseph Blind River Kindergarten students support the environment

The environment is a major focus in schools these days and it starts with the youngest.

Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon communications director Paul de la Riva says kindergarten students at École Saint-Joseph in Blind River made a commitment to do their part for the environment. He says their goal is to recover as much recyclable material as possible from their snack waste and with those items, plan to be innovative and create new things.

De la Riva says it is all part of the curriculum in supporting students to become eco-responsible.
