Bike month officially kicked off in Espanola with a public bike tour on Friday, June 1st.
The tours took place with the consulting team from Share the Road Cycling Coalition & Liem Strategic Integration.
It included a guided 90-minute, family friendly ride around Espanola followed by input from the participants.
Espanola EDO, Cheryl Kennelly says the Wheels Out for Bike Month Community engagement is at the crux of Espanola’s Commuter Cycle Plan.
Kennelly adds Oraclepoll also began a telephone survey to garner community input for the plan.
The community is also invited to participate in an online survey at espanola.ca.
The month will wrap up on June 27th with a Stakeholder Consultation Workshop and a Community Consultation Session.
