Espanola Council Signs Up For Modernized Live-Streaming

By Rosalind Russell – The Town of Espanola will soon have a modernized version of live-streaming to cover council meetings and other public gatherings.
Council has agreed to enter into a three-year contract with eSCRIBE Software of Markham for live-stream services.
Users will be able to see meetings as they happen and follow along with the live video and agenda.
The services also include agenda preparation, internet publishing of agendas, minutes and video, as well as tagging of minutes to video.
The cost is $9,950 per year with funding coming from new service grants for improving municipal delivery of services.
