On the Baxter Cup’s 93rd birthday last week, Espanola curlers brought the cup back home.
This cup challenge features a home-and-home series, five games at each club, with the total overall scores determining the winner.
Espanola took a lead of 23 points in Espanola winning four of five games.
In Little Current, they fought back winning three of five games, but coming up short by 13 points.
Espanola curlers are a happy bunch bringing the cup … and bragging rights, back for another year.
