Espanola Lions Club supports hospital x-ray suite

The Espanola Lions Club is supporting another capital project with the Espanola Regional Hospital and Health Centre.

On Monday, several members of the Lions Club met with hospital foundation board chairman, Mike Dunn, to pledge a donation of $20,000 towards a new x-ray suite.

Dunn says the Lions will use funds from the proceeds of the Catch the Ace draws for the project.

The foundation needs $550,000 to cover the cost of new equipment and retrofit of the x-ray suite.

Just over $30,000 has been raised so far.
