The numbers are coming in and from the preliminary figures the turnout for the Eighth Annual Espanola Pumpkin and Fibre Arts Festivals shows growth with the weekend event.
Jody Pilon, coordinator of the Fibre Arts Festival says around 100 people took in the workshops with another 750 or so taking in the market/showcases at the Elks and Legion halls.
She says there are still some final results to come in, but the numbers are slightly up from last year.
Town EDO, Cheryl Kennelly, says Pumpkin Festival events were also well attended with 170 taking in the annual breakfast and several dozen children taking in the various events at the complex.
The final numbers will be tabulated and presented to council later in the month.
