Health units encourage national survey

Health units in the local districts are encouraging the public to take part in an online survey focusing on COVID-19.

In a release, public health units in the Algoma, Manitoulin and Sudbury districts state the Government of Canada is currently collecting data on Canadians’ perceptions of crime, safety and violence in their community during the coronavirus pandemic.

The information will be used to evaluate security needs and to establish critical programs and services, during and after the pandemic.

To make sure the voices and experiences of citizens are represented in this Canada-wide initiative, they encourage everyone to take five minutes and complete the survey.
