Key positions opening up at Elliot Lake city hall

The City of Elliot Lake is rebuilding after some recent changes to some key positions.

City CAO Daniel Gagnon says Steve Antunes who was originally hired as Special Projects Manager in January, has been appointed as Manager of Economic Development.

Gagnon says that leaves the position of Special Projects Manager vacant and with Darla Hennessey’s retirement, the city is also looking for a new director of recreation and culture.

He says in the interim, Amelia D’Amato has been named Acting Manager of Recreation and Culture.

Gagnon says two more positions are slated for posting soon: Chief Building Official and Deputy Clerk adding all job vacancies are advertised on the elliotlake.ca webpage.
