McDougall Fuels donates to northeastern organizations

Three organizations have received some assistance from a Manitoulin Island business over the holidays.

McDougall Energy Incorporated in partnership with Imperial Oil’s Esso Community Program donated $20,000 to three businesses to assist them in their work over the holidays.

Darren McDougall says the last year has been challenging due to COVID-19, so supporting the communities they serve is an important priority.

He says a $5,000 donation was made to Manitoulin Family Resources with the remainder shared between the Edgar Burton Christmas Food Drive headed up by the Sudbury Food Bank and the ELLEVIVE Women’s Shelter in Timmins.
