New treaty resources available

A new secondary school online treaty education resource will be available next spring.

That announcement as the Anishinabek Nation kicked off the 6th annual Treaties Recognition Week in Ontario.

Grand Council Chief Reg Niganobe says the Anishinabek Nation remains committed to its part in treaty education in Ontario.

Officials say the online resource is a virtual place to go, where teachers can guide their students.

It will include resources, videos, animations, activities and games to explore different treaties in Ontario.

The general public will also be able to access the online resources at anishinabek.ca
