OPP LOOKING FOR ASSISTANCE WITH THEFT FROM RESIDENCE

(ESPANOLA, ON) – On Thursday, December 6, 2018, officers from the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complainant reporting an unknown male in their residence on Centre Street in the Town of Espanola, Ontario.

The occupant of the residence was surprised by a male who entered the residence looking for an acquaintance. The male fled the residence with an undisclosed amount of cash. The occupant was uninjured.

Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this incident should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
