Blind River Mayor Sally Hagman handed out kudos to a pair of volunteers who are known locally as the dynamic duo.
She recognized Shirley Belisle and Cindy Forrest in her remarks on Monday evening adding they have done a terrific job beautifying the trail between Woodland Avenue and the hospital.
She pointed out just before Christmas, the two also installed Christmas decorations along the trail, as well as marked Valentine’s Day and Easter.
She fully expects there will be further decorating for Victoria Day and Canada Day, encouraging the public to take a walk along the trail
She added with Thursday being Earth Day, she hopes to see the public get out with garbage bags and clean up some of their local areas adding to the beauty of the town.
