Permanent facility supervisor sought for Espanola Regional Recreation Complex

Espanola council unanimously approved the hiring of a permanent facility supervisor for the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex.

Public Works department head Joel Yusko says a temporary supervisor was put in place in August to address the shortage and the vacancy became permanent in late September.

He told council to ensure the town can meet its service demands, such as management of staff, overall operations and maintenance, that the position needs to be filled permanently.

After some discussion about costs and job description, council agreed to advertise to fill the position on a permanent basis.
