Sacred Heart Joins a Global Event

Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary School in Espanola invites you to join them for a unique virtual concert celebrating local theatre on Saturday, November 13, 2021.
The Sacred Heart Drama Club will be joining thousands of theatrical organizations around the world by producing their own local production of Music Theatre International’s (MTI) All Together Now!: A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre. MTI created this revue for theatres across the globe to use as a local fundraising event performed over the same weekend of November 12, 2021.
The Sacred Heart Drama Club will be performing songs by dozens of artists in this brand new musical revue from shows including, Rent, Les Misérables, Oliver!, Matilda, Mary Poppins, Come From Away, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Annie, and Once on This Island.
Sacred Heart arts teacher Jodi Bourcier is directing the school’s production, along with Grade 5 teacher, Laurie Donnelly, and Nipissing University student teacher, Olivia Houle.
“We are so blessed to be part of this global event. Just to think that our drama club in Espanola will be performing to a potential worldwide audience is amazing. We’re very excited, nervous, and proud to be able to showcase our talents on this stage,” said Bourcier.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for our students to be part of such a monumental event. I especially appreciate the hard work and dedication of Ms. Bourcier, Ms. Donnelly and Ms. Houle in organizing our performance. The students involved have also been very dedicated in their preparations. I am very proud of everyone and wish them all the best next Saturday,” said Sacred Heart Principal, Syndy Withers.
MTI’s President and CEO, Drew Cohen says, “MTI’s All Together Now!, is about bringing people back to the theatre, whether as audience members or cast, crew and musicians. The revue features songs from the world’s most iconic musicals, so there is definitely something for everyone to enjoy. Our goal with this worldwide event is for organizations to provide hope, inspiration and excitement to their communities through the transformative power of musical theatre.”
The Sacred Heart livestream will occur at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $10 per device (the link only works on one device at a time) and can be purchased at the following website:
