Strategic Plan Moving Ahead In Espanola

Espanola council feel the public have a vital role to play in putting together the town’s new Strategic Plan, which has not been updated since 2012.
To that end, the council passed a motion on Tuesday night to have three members of the public at large sit on the steering committee, which will be formed in the near future.
They also agreed to carry out another Oracle Poll for comment from the people of Espanola, and department heads and staff will also be asked for their input.
Council also agreed to approach LAMBAC, the local area business corporation, to provide assistance on an as-needed cost recovery basis.
Council feels it is important that there be transparency and involvement with the public as part of the process.
