The Cooperators Adopt Espanola Blood Clinic – 64 Units Collected

Lila J. Sloss & Associates Inc. of The Cooperators in Espanola partnered with Canadian Blood Services in early October to ensure lifesaving blood products are available to hospital patients in need.
As part of their giving back to their community, Lila J. Sloss & Associates Inc. adopted the Espanola blood donor clinic, which was held on Monday, October 1st.
“We were pleased and proud to have the opportunity to help Give Life in this way, especially when the need for blood is so great,” says Lila Sloss, Financial Advisor/Owner. “We are very excited about making a real difference in the lives of Canadian hospital patients.
“This year, 100,000 new blood donors are needed across Canada to meet patient needs — including 200 needed right here in our community.” says Sloss.
Organizers were hoping to collect over 70 units, and fell slightly short collecting 64 units of blood in all. The next clinic will be held by late November.
