Vaccinations available for moms-to-be and new moms

Are you pregnant, thinking about becoming pregnant, or breastfeeding and have questions about COVID-19 vaccines?

According to the release, if you are looking for a vaccination clinic, you can attend a clinic which also has resources related to healthy pregnancies and post-natal care.

A clinic will be held in Espanola this Wednesday at the Espanola Mall from 10 am to 1 pm.

Another clinic will be held the same day in Little Current at Little Current Public School from 3 pm to 6 pm.

The health agency states the National Advisory Committee on Immunization recommends a complete two-dose vaccine series with an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine for pregnant and breastfeeding individuals. The Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada also supports vaccination at any stage of pregnancy or while breastfeeding if no medical concern exists.
