Women’s program expands business

The Lacloche Algoma Manitoulin Island Business Assistance Corporation, known as LAMBAC, is overseeing a five-year program to help women establish and/or grow their businesses.

Mike Addison says the NOW program objective is to help women with start-ups and scale-ups throughout Northern Ontario.

He adds the Canadian government has set a goal of doubling women businesses by 2025 and through the agency will provide the tools and financial supports to women who want to establish or expand their business in the North.

He adds there are several intake dates over the next couple of year including the next one on April 30th, 2020.

Email now@lambac.org for an application form and/or more information.
