By Rosalind Russell – Firefighters and their supporters in Elliot Lake are hosting a Christmas Food Drive tomorrow morning.
According to the release, the fundraiser will be held Saturday from 9 am to 1pm in the old Civic Centre Parking lot and they will accept cash, cheques, debit, food items and pledges.
The drive lanes will be clearly marked to create a drive-thru system, and volunteers will have buckets and debit machines to collect donations.
The annual food drive is being supported by the City of Elliot Lake and Canadian Tire with all the donations going to the Elliot Lake Emergency Food Bank.
