The Lions in Espanola has been busy over the last while. They wrapped up the Telethon and the Shopping Trips, but WAIT … THE WRAPPING OF THE GIFTS STILL HAS TO BE DONE AND YOU CAN JOIN IN … The Espanola Lions Club is always thrilled to support the Lions Christmas Telethon. Thanks to Joe and Elly Charette, Sonja Lamothe, and Amy Mathie for helping on the phones and presenting our cheque for $750 to help out.
These four eager shoppers were delighted to spend over $2,400 thanks to the generosity of the staff and students at A.B. Ellis and Sacred Heart School. Events were held at both schools to help the Lions and the Agnes Michon Lions Toy Drive.
AND SPEAKING OF WRAPPING IT UP, if you would like to help out, please bring scissors, a friend, and wrapping skills to the Upstairs Hall at the Legion on Thursday, December 15th at 10:00 am.
