Are you a YEDI?

If you are YEDI, a  youth looking to start your own business, you’re in luck.

There’s a new program at Cambrian College that can help you reach your goal.

Celina Mantler with the College says the new YETI program is now available geared to youth between the ages of 18 and 30 who are looking to start their own business, are out of school, or are unemployed.

She says must you be is from the Espanola or Manitoulin regions, have an idea for developing their own business, and sign up for the 20-week program.

She says the first session will be hosted virtually on February 8th, and participants will be paid for the duration of the program, which includes business plan development, mentorship, and entrepreneurial skills development.

Cambrian College has two satellite campuses in Little Current and Espanola, as well as their main campus in Sudbury.
