By Rosalind Russell – School buses have been cancelled in the Espanola, Massey and Sudbury district, but are still running in both the Algoma and Manitoulin districts.
The buses were cancelled due to the poor road conditions on most rural and side roads and in the interest of safety.
All schools will remain open, however, but no transportation will be provided.
Parents who transport their children to school are reminded that they must pick them up at the end of the school day.
All staff is expected to report to work.
