Cameco tournament to help mental health organizations

By Rosalind Russell-

The Cameco Charity Golf Tournament is set for August 19th in Blind River.

Cameco general manager Terry Davis says the company is organizing the golf tournament to help raise money for local mental health organizations through its Cameco Fund for Mental Health.

The funds will be disbursed to local initiatives that fall under the company’s fund mandate.

Town council has supported a motion to make a $500 donation out of its community promotional reserve fund to assist the initiative.

They are looking for golfers, sponsors, and prize donations. To register or sponsor, visit www.camecofuel.com/golf.
