It’s in the mail.
Fifteen million households across Canada will be receiving census forms in the mail this week.
The census, done every five years, not only counts how many of us there are but also provides information that allows the federal government to set policies on issues like health care and education.
Three-quarters of us will receive the short form, which takes just a couple of minutes to fill out.
The remaining one-quarter will get the long-form document, which takes about half an hour to complete.
