Communities team up for Household Hazardous Waste Day

The Municipality of Huron Shores has teamed up with the Town of Blind River for Household Hazardous Waste Day.

According to the release, residents are invited to take part in disposing of the hazardous waste, such as paint and batteries on Saturday, July 23rd.

The service is free for anyone who wishes to take part.

Huron Shores residents can bring waste to the disposal site at the Blind River Community Centre between 9 am and 1 pm. 

Huron Shores residents can also drop off their household hazardous waste at the Sault Ste. Marie hazardous waste depot located at the City Landfill at 402 Fifth Line E. The Hazardous Waste Depot is open Tuesdays to Saturdays between 8:30 am to 4:30 pm between April 19th to October 22nd.
