Community Days return to Blind River

The popular Community Days is making a return to Blind River following previous cancellations due to the pandemic.

Volunteer Summer Jamieson says the festivities will kick off on Thursday, July 7th with the popular Teddy Bear Picnic followed by the Blind River Demolition Derby on Friday.

She says there will also be the annual parade being organized by the local figure skating club on Saturday with the theme 90s Throw Back.

She adds the day will be capped off with a local band providing entertainment at the Legion.

Anyone one who has ideas for events or who would like to help and volunteer please reach out via Facebook or call/text Summer Jamieson at 705-562-1737.
