Curling and the Jacklin Cup

By Rosalind Russell – It’s a win for the ladies of the Espanola Curling Club.

Kudos to the ladies who brought home the Jacklin Cup last week.

The Jacklin Cup is played by women and has been an ongoing friendly rivalry for 40 years between the two communities of Espanola and Little Current.
The cup was donated to the Little Current and Espanola clubs by Blake Jacklin, a former Baxter

Cup trustee.
