By Rosalind Russell – An Espanola man is returning home to oversee recreational development in Espanola.
Town clerk Joseph Burke says Daniel Deschamps has been appointed as the new Manager of Community and Recreation.
Burke says Deschamps is a graduate of the Recreation Leadership program at Algonquin College in Ottawa with over 15 years of experience in recreation facility management and community programming, including managing several municipal recreation departments and facilities.
He adds Deschamps will be responsible for managing all recreation facilities and leisure services staff for the town.
