Domtar surprises Elks members with donation

On Thursday evening, a contingent of employees of the Domtar Mill in Espanola came to the meeting to present a cheque for $1,500 in support of the organization. Wanda Ouimette, left accepted the cheque from Kyle Herranen, Brie Baxter, Shelley Rose, Nick Siren and Angela Vuorensyrja who represent various departments at the mill. By Rosalind Russell – A contingent from the Domtar Mill in Espanola presented Espanola Elks with a pleasant surprise this week.

The group presented a cheque for $1,500 to the organization to thank them for their support of the community and as a thank you for providing them a meeting place for their gatherings.

Outgoing exalted ruler, Wanda Ouimette thanked the company for their support on behalf of the members as one of her last acts before turning over the position to new exalted ruler, Angela Houle.

The rest of the executive was also acclaimed including Treasurer Jack Luoma and Secretary Barb Capitano.
