Drug bust in Sudbury – street value over $38,000

Two southern Ontario men are facing numerous charges after Greater Sudbury Police found over $38,000 of illicit drugs.

Constable Kaitlyn Dunn says a tip received that day led to the drug raid at a Garson residence on Friday.

Around 9:00 pm on Friday night, officers executed a warrant at a home Brodie Street and took the two men into custody.

Besides the suspected fentanyl and cocaine, police also confiscated scales, packaging materials, phones and cash.

A 34-year-old and a 38-year-old were each charged with two counts each of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and fined $880 for breaching COVID-19 orders.
