EACOM Donates To Lions Who Spent It On Toys

Filling Santa’s bag this year was made a little easier thanks to the generosity of employees of the EACOM Timber Corporation.
Company CEO, President Kevin Edgson says employees at each of its nine sites decided to donate to a local organization with a donation equivalent to $20 per employee totaling nearly $25,000.
He adds the Espanola Lions Club was chosen as the recipient by the employees at the Nairn Sawmill operation, which in turn used the funds for the annual toy drive.
Edgson adds this year has been unique with its COVID challenges and as an essential industry they have been able to be an economic driver while also helping out the community at large.
