By Rosalind Russell – St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake is now experiencing a triple outbreak.
Hospital CEO Jeremy Stevenson says Algoma Public Health has announced another outbreak, this time of influenza.
He says the hospital was already under outbreak declarations for COVID-19 and Parainfluenza.
Stevenson says visitor restrictions remain in place with only essential care partners and compassionate visits allowed in the Acute Care area.
He is also reminding those visitors not to visit if they are experiencing any symptoms.
