Elliot Lake manor closed to visitors due to outbreak

By Rosalind Russell – The long-term care manor in Elliot Lake has been closed to visitors due to an outbreak of COVID-19.

Hospital CEO Jeremy Stevenson says the outbreak was declared at St. Joseph’s Manor on Saturday.

He says the regulations were put in place by Algoma Public Health.

He adds the only exceptions are essential care partners and direct family members of palliative residents.
