ELNOS undertaking business retention and expansion study

By Rosalind Russell – The Elliot Lake and North Shore Corporation for Business Development, commonly known as ELNOS is undertaking a business retention and expansion study in the communities it serves.

General manager William Elliott says they are undertaking the study in Blind River and Spanish, Serpent River First Nation, and the Township of the North Shore.

He adds a separate survey will be carried out in Elliot Lake.

He says the survey will be able to be completed online, over the phone or in person through direct contact with local business owners.

The survey results are then analyzed by a team of professionals who will attempt to find solutions to the needs of businesses in the community to encourage growth and retention.

The studies are expected to begin soon.
