By Rosalind Russell – The girls’ senior volleyball team from École secondaire Notre-Dame-du-Sault has won the Northern Ontario Secondary Schools Division B (NOSSA) championship.
Held last Saturday in Sudbury, the championship brought together teams from Sault Ste. Marie, Espanola, Mattawa and Noelville.
With a perfect record in the preliminary round, the team advanced to the championship game and faced Mattawa capturing the Division banner with a 13-25, 26-24, 15-6 win.
