By Rosalind Russell – Noojmowin Teg Health Centre is hosting an Espanola Addiction Recovery breakfast and workshop focusing on raising awareness in the wider community.
Health & Addictions Counsellor Allison Dodge says the health centre is inviting people to register to be part of the workshop, which will focus on raising awareness of addictions, hearing inspiring stories from people with lived experience, decreasing stigma and providing information about available health services.
She says the event will be held from nine am to 12 noon on Wednesday, March 1st at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex.
Dodge adds pre-registration is required and those who want to attend, can call her.
