By Rosalind Russell – The Tree of Lights campaign has raised funds to improve the life of residents at the Manor in Little Current over the last seven years
Espanola Lions Club member Grant Lewis says the committee chooses a specific project such as having LED lighting installed, installing safe flooring and updating outdoor facilities.
He says the target this year is to modernize the dining room with new dishware, lighting, curtains and more.
Lewis adds since so many residents of Espanola reside at the manor, the Espanola Lions made a $2,500 donation last week to assist with the upgrade.
