Espanola volunteers to be honoured with a special breakfast

By Rosalind Russell – Volunteers in Espanola and area are receiving invitations to attend a special breakfast to say thank you for the work they carry out in the community.

Espanola Mayor Jill Beer says council has extended the invitation to organizations in Espanola to not only enjoy breakfast, but also a trio of special speakers: Sudbury’s Volunteer Coordinator Megan Karchie; Jackie Rivet speaking how Volunteers Saved Her Life and Punya Pandey who developed a new app, Vesa Terra, which focused on climate change.

Beer says the breakfast will be held at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex on Saturday, October 15th starting at 9:30 am.
