If your child needs to take a school bus this September, it is important to contact the local consortium to ensure there is a bus stop set up.
Renee Boucher, the executive director of the Sudbury Student Services Consortium, says things are going well with preparing for the September start-up, but tomorrow is the last day to request bus stop changes.
She says the deadline is important to allow the consortium to complete bus routes so school bus operators can provide the information to their drivers for practice runs before the first day of school.
Boucher says if someone fails to contact the consortium by the deadline, their request will not be processed until September 19th.
September 6th is the first day of school for most boards in the local area.
Contact the consortium via the website at https://www.businfo.ca/en/ or call 705-521-1234.
