By Rosalind Russell – The Moose radio stations in Elliot Lake and Espanola have the final figures for their respective radiothons.
The “It is IN YOU to GIVE” Campaign hosted by the Moose 99.3 FM in Espanola raised nearly $33,400 for the Espanola Hospital Foundation, over one-third of the $90,000 needed for the three pieces of lab equipment.
Elliot Lake’s Moose 94.1 FM raised a record-breaking $8,000 in toys and $7,700 in cash as part of the Christmas Toy Drive for the Salvation Army.
Both stations extend a thank you to the wider community on behalf of all the partners and volunteers involved in the radiothons.
