Funeral planned for next Wednesday

By Rosalind Russell – A police funeral will be held next Wednesday for the Ontario Provincial Police officer shot and killed last
Tuesday.

Constable Greg Pierschala was responding to a call about a car in a ditch about 35
kilometres south of Hamilton.

Two people are charged with first-degree murder in connection with his death.

A procession will take place this morning to escort his body from Toronto to Barrie, where the funeral will take place.
