Little Current post office expands services

By Rosalind Russell – Canada Post has transformed a post office into a community hub that will offer additional services to better meet the needs of residents and businesses in Little Current on Manitoulin Island.

According to the release, the community hub model is intended to provide rural, Indigenous, or Northern communities with access to products and services, so they can better connect with residents and businesses.

The new hub in Little Current began operations on December 15th, offering customers free Wi-Fi, new boxes, lockers, parcel packaging areas and an interactive business directory, and by the spring of 2023, the hub will also have electric vehicle charging stations.
