Manitoulin Health Centre Auxiliary donates $10,000 for new ECG

By Rosalind Russell – A new fundraising endeavour is underway at the Manitoulin Health Centre in Little Current, thanks to a kickoff by the hospital’s auxiliary.

Dawn Orr, the president of the auxiliary says they have launched a fundraising campaign for a new ECG machine with an initial $10,000 donation.

She says the members will continue working towards paying for the equipment with a silent auction to be held at the United Church in Little Current from 2 pm until 4 pm this December 10th, and hopes to see plenty of support from the public.

CEO Paula Fields, the health centre CEO thanked the auxiliary and the public for their continued support.
